Weddings

Holy Matrimony is a Sacrament of the Church, and therefore there are some guidelines for being married at St. Luke’s or St. Joseph’s. Either the bride or the groom should be an active and supporting member of the church. This means they are here more Sundays than not and that they have made an annual giving pledge. There are exceptions to this rule, however, especially if the bridal couple has family ties to St. Luke’s or St. Joseph’s. Please review the Procedures Regarding Holy Matrimony document to find out about wedding celebrations at St. Luke’s. The first step is to complete the Request to be Married form and return it to Corette Richter, our Parish Administrator. A six month advance notice must be given.
